Amos, remember, I gave you that name. I can hardly comprehend 40 years... I had just begun my church service by sitting on the stand in the Bishopric, and Aldin ordained me a high priest..and your life has been a delight to me, always bright and shinning, and after the 'simple joys of maidenhood" as the song says, you married the right guy, in the right place, and learned the art and science of mothering in Zion. what could be a greater gift to parents? it simply is the greatest gift, to us and to a kind and loving Heavenly Father... He loves you as do we. Thanks for a great 40th year...... Dad

Mom and Dad! That is the greatest present you could give me. I know it sounds sappy but thank you for your endless love and example. I love you guys so much and want my family to just like the one you raised me in! Loving the Lord and living the gospel. I love you! I am so excited to be 40!!!!!!!!!!

Amy,

I was just reflecting on how many times you used to beat me up on the trampoline and pull my hair out when we were young in Boise....and how that is probably the reason I am follicly challenged, as the experts say. At the end of the day, you turned out quite calm and goodly. Honestly, I thank God for my big sister...who should be getting a freakin medal for having 7 gorgeous girls and keeping her sanity...I don't know how to handle 2! You are one of the best people I know, and you have had a great influence on me and many others. Happy 40...remember, I hear the 40s are the new 30s so there is hope for us youngsters.
